About three ryans
On a farm just north of Manjimup, Jake Ryan is applying both age-old practices and new-wave thinking to enhance the quality of his land and make less of an impact on the environment.
The Three Ryans is a family business using regenerative agricultural practices to produce better produce with fewer costly inputs. By following the five principles of regenerative farming they produce horticulture crops, eggs, lamb and beef. They value add their horticultural crops (cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage and kale) by value-adding, creating products such as Cauli and Broccoli rice.
With free ranging chickens producing eggs, around 1000 merino sheep and Angus and Angus-cross beef cattle the family is kept busy year-round. Their produce is sold at select outlets around the state.
